One thing I know for sure is that I’m here to sit alongside humans, listen, and be present through it all. I don’t know exactly WHY I’m this way, but I know I AM this way, and at fifty-seven I’m interested in doubling down on who I am and offering you the best version of me until I take my last breath.
That’s why in this month of May (which is “Mental Health Awareness Month”) where I’ve been hyper-focused on What the hell is “good” mental health even (read this piece I wrote on the subject), I’ve come up with the idea of hosting monthly Zoom conversation groups as part of Julie’s Pod.
The conversation groups will allow us to share, learn, level-up our listening skills, gather strength from one another, push back against both the loneliness that our society imposes upon us and the chaos that looms, and for 90 minutes just BE.
Here’s where I need your help!
Please help me get the conversation groups going by filling out a survey that asks which of the following topics would most appeal to you:
parents and adult children living together
curbing your helicopter parenting tendencies
the struggle of being a caregiver
grieving a loved one
loving and accepting your identit(ies)
emerging out of guilt and shame
concerns with where the US is headed
figuring out what you REALLY want to do with your life
Once formed, these groups will be part of the premium content offered to paid subscribers, so if you haven’t already joined that tier (at five bucks a month which is the cost of one coffee date monthly with yours truly) you can subscribe here.
I appreciate you!
