Here in Julie's Pod, it's as real as it gets. I post my thoughts and you share your thoughts in return. But sometimes there's stuff you want to say but you just... can't. Family. Work. School. Relationships. Identity. COVID. COVID and family. Work and family. Kids. Parents. GAH.
I'm here.
I've set up the free phone line 1-877-HI-JULIE where you can leave me a confidential voicemail and get it off your chest.* Periodically, I'll do a Facebook Live event where I summarize the calls, offer my thoughts in return, and invite all who attend to share their thoughts in the comments. In fact, I'll be doing one such Live this Monday September 13 at noon PDT.
So, if you need me, call me. Then tune in for the next Live to hear me share what I heard while having complete confidence that your identity (and everyone else's) will be protected.
You won't just be doing it for yourself; when we humans are dealing with some shit, but we know others are too, it becomes normal and okay, and we develop this sense that we'll get through it together. In other words, someone else will feel less alone because of what you choose to share. As Ram Dass said, "We're all just walking each other home." Isn't that wonderful?
