Are You Living With Your Adult Children? Are You an Adult Living With Your Parents?
Join a Zoom Convo This Week To Discuss the Issues
Many of us find ourselves living with our adult children, or our parents, whether by choice or circumstance or both. This kind of living arrangement has obvious upsides, from the possibility of spreading financial obligations across more people, to having built-in care for children, elders, and family members of any age who need support. But living multi-generationally can also come with downsides that should be addressed if everyone is gonna feel good about living together.
I know about this firsthand – I’ve been both the adult who lived in the same house as my mother, and the parent living with one of my adult children. And because so many Americans these days find themselves in such a household dynamic, I’m writing a book to help folks get good at it, called THE BONUS YEARS.
If you can relate - to the upsides, the downsides, or both – I want to learn from you, and I want to support you. So, please join one of three Zoom conversations I’m hosting this week. I think it’ll also be good for YOU and for all of us to get a chance to share what’s on our minds and maybe learn a thing or two from others.
The calls are on:
Tuesday May 13 9am Pacific
Wednesday May 14, 3pm Pacific
Saturday May 17, Noon Pacific
